Great web trends regarding user experience.
Things I basically knew and had in my brain but wasn't able to clarify. (Very typical me)
1.Services as Software
Usability testing of websites can be crowdsourced or semi-automated
2. User Experience Analytics
Trying to find better web metrics that measure meaning.
3. Content Strategy
This is a key point and something I am happy to say AOL has. We have a strategy of how we create content.
4. Return of the Mobile Web
Design for as broad a platform as possible and that to me means, mobile websites.
5. A Real Experience Economy
People seek authentic experiences. They are starved for it. It's why you can be a jerk, curse and still have people like you because you say what you mean. (I'm living proof of this)
