Sent from my new iPad - never owned an Apple product until now.

Aside from my iPod I have never had an Apple product. In fact I have always been more of an anti-apple person. There is a reason for it, Steve Jobs. While most buy Apple because of Jobs, I purposefully avoid Apple because of Jobs. I don't know Jobs, but I perceive him as a megalomaniac. There is no way a company can do what apple has done without a madman running the show. He runs a tight and buttoned up ship. The fact that no one knows of any other Apple employees aside from Jobs speaks to that. My ethos of transparency abhors Jobs style. I simple cannot abide it. The blind devotion to Jobs by the digerati is odd. It is ok to pounce on Microsoft or Google at the slightest imperfections but when it comes to St. Steve's Apple the benefit of the doubt is always given. While this is a huge stretch - I see similarities between folks devotion to Jobs and historical devotion to Fascist leaders of the 20's and 30's. Of course all apple is missing is the uniforms and parades.
What do you think? Have I gone too far this time?
