We need Netflix for the internet

Unleasing-the-killer-app
The age of search being the killer application for the web is over.  We'll still use it and it will still make money but its age of the be-all-and-end-all has ended.

Why? There is so much more content on the web than ever and we're turning to our "friends" for recommendations.
What we need is a site that has all the data and knows what we have done or read to make recommendations on what to do next.
Netflix does this for movies (an awesome job at it actually) and Amazon does it for products (somewhat less awesomely)

The billion dollar idea is a recommendation engine for the web.

Have any candidates?
