The difficulties in letting go

Letting go of anything is very hard. Something is hard wired in humans to crave the knowable and abhor the unknown.  Letting go forces us to face the unknown.  For the purposes of work it’s even harder.  We all have a hard time letting go of our work, our roles, our co-workers, our desks and so on.  The thing is letting go is essential to moving forward.  Here’s a list of things you should let go in order to move forward.

– Old strategies
– Job titles
– Declining business
– Never satisfied customers
– Co-workers who don’t contribute
– Process
– Control of employees
– The message
– Old technology
– Who you think you are
– Of perfection
