This is the beginning of the Ayn-Randian Nightmare

Look hard at the USA. What state are we in that young men feel the need to become terrorists? The state of the poor is the same as it is in Saudia Arabia, Pakistan or any other country traditionally home to terrorism.

We have people who were promised hope, opportunity and greatness and they have nothing. All they have is shame.
For the American white man, he’s told he is rich. That he has all the advantages in the world. That it’s his country, a land of opportunity and a place for HIM to succeed and do better. His history shows that he stood up to a King in England. Conquered the West. Defeated the Spanish. Saved Europe, not once, BUT TWICE! Led the free World! Defeated Communism… it was HIM and PEOPLE LIKE HIM. That’s what his history book says? Washington, Jefferson, Lincoln, Lee, Grant, Teddy Roosevelt, JP Morgan, Andrew Carnegie, John Rockefeller, Thomas Edison, Henry Ford, FDR, Truman, Eisenhower, Patton, Kennedy, Reagan, Gates, Jobs, Musk, Zuckerberg… all white male heroes.
His reality? He’s poor. He has no prospects. He has no opportunity and he has no chance…. so he is looking for hope, something that will make him feel good. But he is stuck with his shame… and it eat at him. He is finding solace in anger, nostalgia and false narrative.

  • You know why you don’t have a job?
    • Because a Mexican took it.
  • You know why you don’t have an opportunity?
    • Because the government let a black man jump the line.
  • You know why you can’t succeed?
    • Because some liberal is saying you are racist and blocking your job.

It all makes sense. It’s easy to see why it’s happening.

We shouldn’t be surprised. The USA gave up on shared prosperity somewhere in the 1980’s We gave up on lifting EVERYONE together by having progressive tax structure, massive programs for education, massive wealth distribution. Instead, we opted for a 16-year-old’s idea of philosophy… The Fountainhead, Ayn Rand and a deluded belief that every man is on his own and makes his own mark and is great just by virtue of the level of his greed.
We’ve followed our Randian nightmare to the brink of a new United States. A country, where you can see the seams. A country where for the first time in my life… you can see it breaking apart.
This is just the beginning friends…. it will get worse before it gets better.
