Coachmen | Occupations for Women | Unisex Cotton Tee.

Baseball cards sure have changed. In 1887 a company called Goodwin & Company thought it would be a cool insert to add sexy photos of ladies working. I think they really wanted to put working ladies, but they found away around these. There are over 50 of these but we’re just grabbing the best of the best.
I feel like they are a cool feminist thing to rock. Like just say screw it and own the dudes who thought they were so tough in the 19th century.
Original description.
The “Occupations for Women” series of trading cards (N166) was issued by Goodwin & Company in 1887 to promote Old Judge and Dogs Head Cigarettes. The Metropolitan Museum of Art owns all 50 cards in the series, as well as three duplicate cards.
