TV is doomed and it knows it

This week the nerd world has descended on the decadent hole that is Las Vegas. The annual Consumer Electronics Show (CES) is being held and lots and lots of electronic crap is being hawked. Its the place where absurdly sized televisions, 3D Google glasses and gyroscopic gizmos all share a stage trying to hide the fact that I still don’t have a flying car (1936 World Fair, you lied.)
Me? I’m focused on my little side hobby… getting rid of my goddamn cable box while continuing to watch sports. So far? I am failing.
