Seth Godin, a famous if you are nerd, business and marketing person wrote a book called The Dip. The basic premise of it is, that when you start working on something that you care about, the first couple weeks can be easy, until it isn’t…. Dieters, people trying to exercise for the first time in a bit know about it as well. It’s the moment when it’s not fun, it’s not novel and it’s getting hard. It’s the moment you dip in enthusiasm, the moment you dip in desire, it’s the moment you dip in confidence, it’s when you say to yourself “What am I doing?” “Why did I think I could write a post everyday?” Well, that’s what I am in. I almost gave up today. Writing these individual words… each one was a trial. A painful… time to think… what am I talking about, why would anyone read this? And what the hell is the point?
