A tip for Cities and sports teams… NEVER TEAR DOWN YOUR OLD STADIUMS.

We complain that its dump, but places of historical worship and emotion have meaning beyond luxury boxes.
Places mean something and have energy. When they are gone, we lose a little bit of our souls.

Think about how you miss your childhood home. Consider what it feels like when you go back to the old neighborhood. Reflect on your old street you grew up on.
We’re feeling more than nostalgia. We are feeling more than what our mind tells us. Our bodies are connected to places. It’s why homesickness can stay with you for years. It’s why when you go to an old building it has something to it. It has life. It has meaning. We are more than just what we see and can measure in the world.
Any place that has been for gathering, singing, and cheering holds greater significance. It is more than just concrete and metal that the place was.
