Why Blogging Beats Social Media for Your Voice

its hard to write. I only do it so I don’t lose my mind when every I am home alone a lot. Unemployment will do that to you.

One of the things I am committed to is when I start replying to a social media post and giving that content to the machine, I instead think? Why don’t I just make that into a blog post? So that’s where some of these posts are coming from.

We are all so smart and spend so much time on our devices. Some of my friend write amazing insightful posts that are much better than anything I can think of. I am always amazed at why they don’t have their own blog, or book or something. Why do we give it to social media?

I have had this domain or some blog for at least 15 years. There are things I have written that I can go back and review that I am really proud of.

I am so glad I have them collected. What does giving them to social media companies do? Not much. I am looking forward to the day that Aveline can go and read my stuff and say? Huh? My dad was thoughtful. He put stuff into the world.

I don’t know if its all great or all makes sense but at least its out there. It’s not a diary per say, but at least its a mark. I’m in the game.
